An anti-vehicle mine, also called a vehicle mine or anti-vehicular mine was a type of mine solely intended to target vehicles of multiple classes. Each mine was embedded with microcircuitry which allowed the weapon to differentiate between vehicles and organic creatures. Once the mine detected either a metallic mass or a repulsorlift field, the mine would detonate and explode. Each mine generally cost 750 credits to purchase.
