Armor-piercing warheads were a specific type of warhead utilized by concussion missiles and concussion bombs. The warhead contained a compact energy pack that released concussive blastwaves upon detonation. The explosive force disrupted instruments and equipment in addition to causing shock and blast damage. Concussion missiles such as the ST2 concussion missile was equippped with an armor-piercing warhead.
