Assault cannon

The assault cannon was a weapon with two firing modes used by the Galactic Empire's Phase II dark troopers. Each assault cannon fired plasma shells as their primary ammunition, and the weapon could also launch long-range explosive rockets.

Though the weapon was exclusively designed for the Dark trooper battle droid, an ordinary humanoid soldier could use it. Kyle Katarn was able to acquire such a weapon during the campaign to eliminate the Dark Trooper Project.
