Atmosphere containment projector

Canon Linked from 1 article

An atmosphere containment projector was a device that maintained a spacecraft's internal atmosphere when bay doors or other openings were exposed to vacuum. It created an invisible barrier that prevents atmospheric loss while allowing solid objects and personnel to pass through freely. These projectors were commonly used in hangar bays and docking ports on capital ships like the Finalizer and the Steadfast, as well as battle stations like the Death Star and Death Star II, to facilitate operations in space without depressurization.
