A variant of B2 super battle droid with chainsaws as hand appendages was used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. One such droid was present during the Battle of Simocadia, where it used its chainsaws to cut through a wooden door in the Royal Palace. It then attempted to use the saws as the melee weapons against the Humans defending the palace, but was cut in half by Mace Windu's lightsaber.
