Backhand shock gloves

Backhand shock gloves were a series of powerful, non-lethal shock gloves produced by Corellian Personal Defense. The gloves used an advanced kinetic energy reclamation system to power its high-output circuitry and offered the power and versatility of a stun baton in a wearable form. Because of its power requirements and charging system, which used the wearer's movements to recharge its capacitors, the gloves were slow to recharge. Post-0 BBY, and during the Galactic Civil War fought between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, Backhand series shock gloves were marketed toward bodyguards, security forces, and law enforcement and cost 2,000 credits.
