Canon Linked from 1 article

The BAL-Core was a model of worker droid with two-tone blue plating and two white photoreceptors. The model was a type of monster droid and had the head and two legs of an BDX droid attatched to the spherical body of a BB-series astromech droid, a product of Industrial Automaton. A group of Jawas sold blueprints for BAL-Cores out of the Sandcrawler Shop near the Junkers Cantina on the planet Tatooine. They priced the default design at 43,000 credits, a golden design at 172,000 credits, a diamond-colored version at 344,000 credits, and a rainbow-colored design at 668,000 credits.
