A bayonet was a sharp blade that could be mounted on the end of a blaster rifle or other long-barreled rifle. Bayonets could be purpose-made to attach to a weapon, be regular knives attached to rifles by improvised means, or be built into the weapon itself, as with certain models of bo-rifle.
