The Boss miner droid, also called the Super miner droid was a mining droid that had a dangerous weapon on its back. It helped the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Nightsisters dig up Force crystals on Christophsis during the Clone Wars. The super miner droid noticed C-3PO and R2-D2, and attempted to attack the two droids, but Artoo closed the door in time to save them.
