By 3 ABY, a group of pirates had stored a fastshot trigger in a cavern inside of Typhon's Rock, a rock mound in the Lost Steppe region on the moon Toshara, located in the Outer Rim Territories.

In 3 ABY, the scoundrel Kay Vess heard about the fastshot trigger stored at Typhon's Rock. She later went to the cavern and retrieved the trigger and used it to the modify her VM-19 heavy blaster pistol.
