Ceremony, Gala, and Ritual droids were a type of protocol droid during the Cold War and Galactic War between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic that were programmed to perform a wide variety of ceremonies and rituals for their clients. These ceremonies ranged from performing marriages through the Terms of Bonding to presiding over Rodian harvest festivals, as CGR-80 did.
