A comms slicer was a bespoke device created by Luuda Fluxion to eavesdrop on Imperial audio transmissions. Hiding the device within a piece of art smuggled into an art auction during a podrace on Nar Shaddaa, Luuda's crew, led by the Dug Sebulba, managed to get the device close to the Empire's local communications nexus. Although their heist failed, the device worked.
