Corellian compound bow

The Corellian compound bow was a large bow found on the planet Corellia during the Galactic Civil War. With a typical draw weight of fifty-five to eighty-five kilograms, Corellian bows came equipped with a system of cams and cables to lever the arms and reduce the draw weight, allowing for longer, more accurate aiming when fully drawn. The impressive tension stored in a Corellian compound bow allowed it to fire broadhead arrows with a tremendous amount of kinetic force. The bow could fire explosive tipped or stun arrows as well. As any bow with a draw weight of less than fifty kilograms was often considered a children's model, some Corellians considered drawing a compound bow a true test of a man's strength. Made of composite materials, the bow could fire up to a medium distance and sold for 200 credits after 0 BBY.
