CWW8 Battle Droid

The CWW8 Battle Droid, also known as the CWW8 Combat Droid, was a model of battle droid produced during the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. The CWW8 was a modified version of the standard CLL-8 binary load lifter with its lifts replaced by heavy blaster cannons. It was also equipped with armor designed to deflect blaster bolts. After the Battle of Yavin, the assassin droid HK-47 reactivated the production of CWW8 droid in the Neimoidian droid factory on Mustafar as part of his plan to create a droid army.

Variants of the CWW8 Battle Droid included the CWW Class Eradicator, the AK-1A "Hammer", the AK-3 "Reaper", and the AK-Prime.
