Data solid

A data solid was a device capable of storing data. By the time of the Republic Era, the Pijali palace's library and regent's office on the Inner Rim planet Pijal had several data solids, which the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn considered old. In 40 BBY, the devices were noticed in the palace's library by Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. Not long after, when visiting the regent's office, the Jedi pair took note of various data solids, holoprojectors, and scanners stacked in high piles upon entering the room.
