Desalination tanks were devices designed to extract salt from seawater for industrial use. Four blocky gray desalination tanks were built along the side of the factory designated Coronet-SFS-14 in Coronet City on the planet Corellia.
In 13 BBY, a human worker took shelter between the tanks when the criminals Han and Qi'ra raced past in a M-68 landspeeder while fleeing from the White Worms gang's A-A4B truckspeeder, which also passed the tanks.
