Doroido
Canon Linked from 1 article
A Doroido was a droid used by the Galactic Empire to protect the corridors and rooms of their first Death Star by detaining any detected intruders. They appeared similar in size and shape to an astromech, though with a turret-shaped head, and also moved by rolling with their feet.
Luke Skywalker, just prior to rescuing Princess Leia Organa in 0 BBY, encountered these droids while exploring the Death Star.
