E-410 sublight engine

Canon Linked from 4 articles

The E-410 sublight engine was a gray model of sublight engine manufactured by Girodyne. Upgrading an EML-850 light freighter previously equipped with the slower E-310 sublight engines to E-410s cost two thousand credits and required a X-FP-C28 ship computer, twenty units of quadanium, and eight enhanced durasteel hulls. In 3 ABY, a Huttese advert for the engine was played over the speakers of the casino cruiser Morenia, claiming that they provided speed that you could count on.

That year, the thief Kay Vess paid for the services of a starship mechanic to upgrade her EML-850 light freighter Trailblazer's E-310 engines to E-410 sublight engines, providing the necessary parts.
