An electric shaver was a device which was capable of holding charge. The Socorron gambler Lando Calrissian owned an electric shaver and in 3 BBY he came to believe he may have to resort draining the charge from it into his ship's energy storage system in an attempt to give it enough energy to take off from the planetoid Oseon 2795, which he was visiting to play the game Sabacc.
