The Golden Pylat Award was an award that shared its name with the Neimoidian pylat bird. Prior to the Neimoidian–led Trade Federation's invasion of the planet Naboo in 32 BBY, the Trade Federation Occupation Council's chronicler, the Neimoidian Viff Almay, wrote a biography of Trade Baron Uunos Gooru, for which she won the Golden Pylat Award.
