Grease gun

A grease gun was a type of maintenance tool. One model had a nozzle to dispense lubricant after being warmed in a heating element attached to the side of the tool and was used to oil the joints of droids. A smaller model of grease gun with a barrel could be used to repair hyperdrives. Another model with a longer body and barrel was used on podracers.
By 32 BBY, the Human Anakin Skywalker used the grease gun made for oiling droid joints when he built his protocol droid C-3PO while living on the desert planet Tatooine.
