The groundquake machine was a was a technology created on Dalna by Nihil member Zadina Mkampa with the unwilling help of Avon Starros, purportedly for the purpose of terraforming. The machine was powered by Starros' Sunvale crystal and its activation caused massive groundquakes on Dalna, devastating the planet and causing it to be evaucated.
