GT astromech droids, also known as GT models were a type of astromech droid used by Pathfinder teams. GT-11, a droid that was part of Jedi Master Silandra Sho's pathfinder team, was a GT astromech droid. GT-22 was a GT astromech droid that was a member of the Galactic Republic Outer Rim Exploration Team Outer Rim Expedition Eight-Zero-Seven. Around 379 BBY, the droid Dee-Twelve was stolen by a salmaca that had been raiding the village of Peka for several weeks. When Jerlyn, whose family owned Dee-Twelve, described it to Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani, who had agreed to help search for the droid, he compared its size and shape to that of a GT model.
