Gungan Staff

The Gungan Staff, also called a staff of authority, was owned by Boss Rugor Nass, who led the Gungan species in the city Otoh Gunga on the planet Naboo. The staff was black and had two triangular supporting branches at the bottom, which had holes next to the body of the staff. The tip of the staff held a roughly circular shape with a symmetrical pattern of holes throughout it. The center of the tip contained three round teal objects.

Nass held the staff when he exiled the clumsy Gungan Jar Jar Binks from the Gungan Swamp for causing too many accidents. During the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation in 32 BBY, Nass raised the staff at the Gungan Sacred Place in front of a crowd of Gungans who had evacuated Otoh Gunga following the Trade Federation's siege of the city.
