The H-AD duralloy hull was a standard starship hull made with duralloy. In 3 ABY, the Trailblazer, an EML-850 light freighter, was equipped with a H-AD duralloy hull when the thief Kay Vess stole it from the Imperial Security Bureau Director Sliro Barsha's Westhill Palace in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. Vess piloted the stolen freighter to the moon Toshara and carried out modifications on it there.
Vess eventually upgraded the Trailblazer and replaced hull with more durable H-RD duralloy hull and then even more durable H-SD duralloy hull.
