By 20 BBY, hemostats were largely outdated by pressor generators That year, the Republic surgeon Jos Vondar was forced to use a hemostat when his pressor generator was disabled at Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 during the battle on the planet Drongar during the Clone Wars.
