Holo-scribers were devices used during the forging of fake identifications. When the smuggler Han Solo hired a Tsyklen forger to create fake identifications for him and his Wookiee partner Chewbacca on the planet Nar Hekka circa 5 BBY to 4 BBY, she used holo-scribers. Due to the particularly nimble hands that all members of the Tsyklen species possessed with seven fingers and two thumbs, she was able to manipulate two holo-scribers at once.
