The IM series was a model of security droid manufactured by Droid Security Systems, a division of Sacul Industries Group, and was present on their logo. Similar in appearance to the DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid, they possessed a multitude of sensors and had blue and silver plating. By about the year 1 BBY, the IM series had undergone improvements and were used in Spaceport THX1138.
