Ion Turret

Ion Turrets were turrets utilized by Darth Revan's Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War and millennia later by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. The Ion Turret would raise its barrel from the base and begin firing, before eventually folding back down in order to reload. During the short reload period the turret was vulnerable to attacks.
