Kai's first lightsaber

Kai's first lightsaber, also known as Kai's lightsaber was a training lightsaber that was wielded by Jedi Initiate Kai Brightstar during the High Republic Era. The saber was a generic brass cylinder design issued for younglings.

Around 233 BBY, Brightstar was sent on a mission by Jedi Master Yoda, his lightsaber was stolen by the pirate Taborr Val Dorn. Kai then replaced it with another lightsaber gifted by Yoda.

Kai would see this lightsaber again on the planet Vuundalla inside a locker in Cyrus Vuundir's workshop where he learnt of Prince Cyrus' secret identity as Taborr. Kai would take the lightsaber back before later confronting Cyrus about both the possession of the lightsaber and his secret identity.

Kai would later develop Jar'Kai with both his green and blue training lightsabers to fight the sentient droid Apexx before he repented.
