Kashyyykian black mountain armor

The Kashyyykian black mountain armor was a type of battle armor worn by members of the Wookiee species during the Galactic Civil War. This armor was developed to protect Wookiees from the elements and predators they could encounter when traversing mountainous areas. It was also often worn by Wookiee hunters tracking small or medium-sized preys. The Kashyyykian black mountain armor offered protection against kinetic damage as well as from energy-based weapons like blasters. The complete armor set comprised a chest plate with an included helmet, left & right biceps, left & right bracers and leggings.

Two other models of Wookiee armors were the Kashyyykian hunting and ceremonial armors.

Kashyyykian black mountain armors were worn by the Isolationist Wookiees.

A variant of this armor, the Kashyyykian black mountain camouflage armor, was designed to help Wookiees blend with forest environments.
