The Knockout mine was a nonlethal device produced by Brennkeyes Syndicate for discreet personnel control. It gave users early warning of intruders and allowed them to focus on other tasks. Smaller and easier to conceal than lethal mines, it was typically placed at head height and triggered by a laser tripwire. Upon detonation, it released a flash of light and a neuroparalytic agent that incapacitated any organic who inhaled it.
