The Kyuzo Maad-38 heavy laser cannon was a model of heavy, ball laser cannon which were built into the Galactic Empire's All Terrain Defense Pod as their primary weapon. It was capable of punching a hole through medium vehicle plating. The Maad-38 existed by 18 BBY. In that year, AT-DPs were deployed into the invasion of Mon Cala.
