Maul's droid

A probe droid was used by a descendant or clone of the Sith Lord Darth Maul during the reign of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, between 130 ABY and 138 ABY. The droid model was similar in appearance to the DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droids utilized by the original Maul over a century prior. Consisting primarily of black metal, the spherical droid also featured smaller silver accents, several glowing red lights, and an antenna.

Maul's heir and his apprentice, Darth Talon, used the probe droid to aid in combat during their conquest against Darth Krayt and his One Sith ideology. At the behest of its masters, the droid hacked computers, opened doors, mapped out areas, turned off lights, and gathered general information.
