Mend-gel

Mend-gel was a type of medical substance that could be used to heal wounds. Grand Admiral Rae Sloane felt that mend-gel had properties comparable to bacta, a type of thick, gelatinous substance with miraculous healing properties. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, mend-gel was often available on civilized worlds. In 5 ABY, when Sloane was injured on the desolate planet Jakku, she wished she was somewhere civilized so that she could heal her wounds with mend-gel.
