MG9 proton torpedo launcher

The MG9 proton torpedo launcher, also known as MG9 emission-type proton torpedo launcher, was a proton torpedo launcher produced by Krupx. A/SF-01 B-wing starfighters were equipped with a pair of MG9 emission-type proton torpedo launchers.

The detonation of an MG9 torpedo within an atmosphere created a shockwave powerful enough to knock multiple starfighters out of the sky, making it dangerous to use when friendlies might be in the area. The flash generated an exploding MG9 torpedo could also potentially blind a person within one kilometer of the explosion.
