A microwave fermentation device used microwaves to rapidly ferment alcoholic beverages such as Deltron spice wine. It emitted microwaves as a by-product, which could be used to track the device by those who knew what they were looking for. It was a luxury item during the days of the Galactic Republic. One was used by Augustus Tryll.
