Mimetic suit
Canon Legends version → Linked from 2 articles
A mimetic suit was a type of stealth suit that used an optical camouflage system combined with electromagnetic and heat shielding, sound bafflers, and other stealth systems to render its user almost completely invisible to sensors and other individuals. It required small, high-output energy cells, built into its belt or wristbands, to power all of its systems. All mimetic suits were illegal to own and to sell to civilians, and were primarily used by law enforcement agencies, governmental intelligence, and some criminals. One notable model was the Mk IX Personal Mimetic Concealment Suit, manufactured by Cyricept.
