Motivation actuator

A Motivation actuator was a mechanic droid component that controlled the droids movement that cost 150 credits in 3 ABY.

In 3 ABY, the thief Kay Vess meant Saya's R5 droid malfunctioning outside of Saya's house in Jaunta's Hope, a town on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. After talking to the droid and getting a translation from a nearby human, she learned that the droid needed a new motivation actuator. Vess would later buy an actuator from a scrap merchant named Heren Gallack that operated out of Jaunta's Hope. After she returned and installed the new actuator into the droid, the droid allowed her into Saya's house, where Vess stole her stash.
