N-57 armor

N-57 armor was a model of armor designed for combat engineers. Produced by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. as the latest in its N-series line as of the Galactic Civil War, the N-57 was available for general purchase, breaking the company's policy of selling to established planetary militaries, and sold at a cost of 3,000 credits. Providing protection comparable to laminate armor, the N-57 armor included a microgenerator that could power attachments or provide an emergency boost to external equipment, recharging an ammunition-less energy weapon or a device without power in the same manner as reloading it with an extra power pack.
