Noise dampener

A noise dampener was a fist-sized device that was used to dampen sounds. In 228 BBY, the former Nihil pirate Krix Kamerat and the former Jedi Padawan Ruu, who worked for the security company Supreme Coronet City Diplomat Protection, used noise dampeners while interrogating the Nihil Haakon Pav in an abandoned apartment building in Coronet City on the planet Corellia. The building was chosen as the site of the interrogation because the neighborhood it was in was rumored to be haunted, so no one would find it unusual if the noise dampeners failed and strange sounds were heard coming from the building. After killing Pav, Ruu used the Force to gather the noise dampeners and put them in a bag by the apartment's door. He then picked up the bag, and he and Kamerat left to report the results of the interrogation.
