Ocular enhancer

The ocular enhancer was a device equipped with lenses and worn over the eyes. Tapping the side of the ocular enhancer could darken the lenses to protect against bright light such as that produced by a fusion cutter, and simultaneously increase magnification by a factor of two hundred percent. The Tynnan explosives expert and thief Dawson owned an ocular enhancer, which he used to compensate for his species' lackluster vision. Dawson wore the device during a heist aboard the Ithorian Herdship Song of the Clouds and a subsequent visit to the Outer Rim Territories planet Kabal in 0 ABY.
