Oppo Rancisis's lightsaber was a Jedi weapon created by the Thisspiasian Jedi Master. It had a single green blade and a cylindrical, straight, gray-colored hilt with a rectangular, jutting guard on its blade emitter.
Oppo Rancisis wielded the lightsaber during his tenure on the Jedi High Council, using it in ceremonial recognition of his fellow Jedi Yaddle's ascension to the rank of Jedi Master, and, later, in defense of the Jedi Temple against the Yinchorri Uprising of 33 BBY. During the Siege of Saleucami, a battle of the Clone Wars conflict between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, Rancisis, now acting as a Republic strategist, used the saber in battle against Anzati assassins dispatched by Confederate Dark Jedi Sora Bulq to kill him.
