A panic ring was a small device that would continuously broadcast an encrypted emergency signal to authorities if the wearer pressed a small button. It was usually hidden in a large ornate ring. It had a range of 100 kilometers.
Enneth Holkin, protocol aide to co-Chief of State of Corellia Denjax Teppler, wore one during Unification Summit in 43 ABY.
