A Ranger star was a symbol worn by the members of the Je'daii Order that marked the rank of the Je'daii Ranger. The symbol was made in the form of a miniature metal star. Je'daii Rangers usually placed the star on their belts or other prominent places; they were recognized by such a star by the Padawans and the civilians among whom Rangers spent time on their assignments outside their homeworld of Tython. In order to blend in with the crowd and not give away their status, Je'daii Rangers hid their Ranger star.
