Ray accelerator

A Ray accelerator, was a versatile processor that could be used in blasters. It could be used to modify the rate of fire and power of a VM-19 heavy blaster pistol. It was also used in the manufacture of ion smoke grenades.

During 3 ABY, the Quarren rogue merchant Shuma sold the ray accelerator on various worlds from her Sienar-Chall Utilipede Transport for 210 credits. During the same year, a Pantoran on Toshara named Belo Roovin and an Aqualish on Akiva named Lunda Nyside sold ray accelerators for the same price.

Kay Vess used ray accelerators to modify her VM-19 heavy blaster pistol and construct ion smoke bombs in 3 ABY.
