S-1 security droid

The S-1 security droid was a variant of the Viper probe droid used as a security droid during the Galactic Civil War. By the time of the Battle of Yavin, S-1 and S-2 security droids were used by the Corellian Security Force to patrol the underground maintenance tunnels located beneath the surface of Coronet City, especially the lower maintenance areas. The anti-technology fanatics of the Meatlump gang sometimes encountered and fought S-1 and S-2 security droids since they had established their secret hideout in abandoned maintenance tunnels located just above the lower maintenance areas.
