Seeker missiles were guided projectiles that were designed to track a target's heat signature. Each individual rocket was relatively slow while in flight and it was filled with enough detonite to overwhelm the strongest personal shielding. The Phase III Dark Trooper was armed with seeker missiles, and was capable of firing a "seemingly endless" supply of projectiles. Seeker missiles could be fired from blaster pistols; Dash Rendar's weapon was modified in such a manner.
