Snub-blasters were a type of easily concealable blaster pistol that had their serial numbers written on their grip. Around 10 BBY, the criminal Dug podracer Sebulba carried a snub-blaster while on the planet Malastare. In 34 ABY, thugs in the employ of the junk dealer Unkar Plutt on the desert planet Jakku carried snub-blasters with all the serial numbers removed.
