Starpilot license

A starpilot license, also known as a piloting license, or as a pilot's license, was a type of license produced by the Bureau of Ships and Services issued to Pilots. During the time of the Galactic Republic, unauthorized use of Republic Military Skylanes on Coruscant would result in the revocation of the pilot's license. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, pilots had to maintain standard to keep their license. If they failed, pilots found themselves charged with a Class Five infraction under the Imperial Penal Code. A common punishment for Class Three infractions under the penal code was the revocation of a pilot's Starpilot license.
